Do i have to stop at the agricultural stop next to the golf course when im coming back in to ca from south lake tahoe. its a passenger car not towing anything?

Not if you are a local (CA or NV). Just drive in the lane to the right past the little hut. Most of the time it’s closed anyway. I believe it’s intended primarily for industrial trucks carrying fruit or vegetables, not individuals or families.

At least 10 years ago, they always use to have someone in the hut, and the usual routine was to slow down and wave at them, and they’d wave back. But in recent years, it seems like they’re almost always closed.

Now I’m guessing that budget cutbacks have resulted in it being closed most of the time.
