Question by Dmitry P: How does the traffic you think would look like tomorrow from San Jose to Lake Tahoe around 3-5 pm?
Map says it’s 4 hours travel, I wonder what should be added for traffic?

I would probably plan for 5 – 6 hours. There is a huge storm coming in Thursday and they have scheduled winter storm watches for Thursday. They are expecting 1 foot at the Donner Pass over 7000 feet and probably 6″ at lake level. Your biggest problem area will be Fairfield area. Especially if you hit that area between 5 – 7pm.
