Question by Knight!: Im kinda new to SF, how would I get to Squaw Valley near Lake Tahoe from here?
Using public transportation. BART only goes so far, If I take BART and get off at Pittsburg, where do I go from there? Thanks!

    Don’t get off at Pittsburg.

    BART to Richmond; then Amtrak’s California Zephyr to Truckee. From there, you can arrange for private transport with your hotel. Or you can use TART to get to Squaw Valley. The schedule is quite limited though, so you will need to plan in advance:

    Or you can take the ski bus directly from San Francisco if you just want to hit the slopes and don’t mind sticking to their schedule:

    just take the grey hound and it travels east to Truckee……central truckee at least. from there u can take local transportation! that simple.. i mean u can take bart. but go as far to the SF bus/train station and go from there!
