Question by william p: I’m staying at the Marriott in Lake Tahoe (first timer to Tahoe)…Anyone have any suggestions?
My wife and I could go either way, skiing or not, we want to avoid spring breakers, and are staying at the Marriott Timber lodge. We just need to pick a time of year to go and have no idea!

If you’re not a big skier, go when it’s warm. June, July or August are great times to go. Spend some time on the lake. You can rent boats (no special skills necessary – just a drivers license), go jetskiing, waterskiing, parasailing. You can spend some time on the beach, go for a hike (the hike down to emerald bay beach is nice), or do a lake cruise – dinner, dancing, or mid-day. If you dont like crowds, avoid 4th of July. Of course there’s golf and gambling too.
