Today I went to DL Bliss State Park near Emerald Bay on the California side of Lake Tahoe. I hiked the Rubicon Trail to the Lighthouse, and then I started down the trail to Emerald Bay, but when I saw a bear, albeit a small one, I decided not to tempt fate and I turned around back to the car.
