for new years eve and only for one night? i want it within a mile to the strip so i can walk there to have fun. help me out locals!

New Years Eve is a big money time for all of South Lake Tahoe.
Most places will charge a premium for a room and have at least a 2 night minimum.
I have been going there since the mid 80′s. It has been that way since before then.
If you are just starting to look for a room now, good luck.
