Which is the family side and which is the casino side of Lake Tahoe? North or South?

South Shore is casinos. It’s kinda odd–they call it North and South lake Tahoe but really that’s not applicable. It’s really east west as the east side is in Nevada and therefore has the casinos. So technically there are casinos on North Lake Tahoe and South Lake Tahoe but usually when people say South Shore they mean the Nevada side.
